PPP leader Khursheed Shah has come down hard on Prime Minister Imran Khan for, what he called, inflicting big loss to the country.

Imran Khan brought in corruption to get his post at a higher level, he said adding that the PDM awarded tickets to its candidates in the Senate election.

He said he turned up to respect the vote.

Last month, The Pakistan People’s Party has submitted a request to Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaisar, for the issuance of a production order for Syed Khursheed Shah for the upcoming Senate elections. Shah is in jail over a corruption reference of Rs1.23 billion.

Besides writing to the speaker National Assembly, the PPP has also sent an application to the Chief Election Commissioner to make necessary arrangements to produce the party’s detained MNA for voting during the upcoming Senate elections.
