World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature Wednesday kicked off its awareness campaign to protect the Indian pangolins in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

In connection with the campaign, the WWF management board organized a special event in Islamabad. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan as a key guest told the audience that Prime Minister Imran Khan also had a vision for the protection of wildlife.

The Senator said that his party’s government wanted to highlight the natural beauty of the country and it had already inaugurated 10 new national parks across the country and these were being further improved. He confirmed that PM Imran Khan would start projects related to wildlife soon.

Faisal said that they had a goal to improve the prestige and image of Pakistan in the world and such a thing could be possible if civil society and politicians made efforts together. He confirmed the government’s full support to the WWF.
