In another horrific case of honour killing, a model was killed by her brother in a village of district Okara, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

The 22-year-old model, Sidra, of village 51R of Okara was killed by her brother.

According to the police, the murdered model was visiting her village from Faisalabad to celebrate Eidul Fitr when her brother killed her in the name of honour.

SOHO Javaid Khan said the dead body of the deceased has been shifted to the hospital for the postmortem while an investigation has been launched.

Police have yet to arrest the accused murderer in the case. 

It may be mentioned that famous model and social media star Qandeel Baloch was also killed by her brother in the name of honour and later her murderer was set free after being pardoned by the family of the model.
