Ex-president renews resolve to continue Benazir’s mission

Former president Asif Ali Zardari has said his vision is to serve the people and he considers politics as worship, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.

“I cannot become Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (Shaheed) and Benazir Bhutto (Shaheed). I am trying to follow in their footsteps, he said while addressing workers in Nawabshah.

“When Benazir Bhutto was laid to rest, I made a promise that I would continue her mission. the former president said.

"People's power has countered every conspiracy. I have already said that there is no need to bring down Imran, he will fall on his own

He stressed that only the PPP can overcome the economic crisis in a better way. 

"We will continue our mission," he said adding that he will keep all the promises he made
