Conspiracies against madrassahs will be foiled: Fazl

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that Madrassahs have been playing a key role in the education and betterment of the society in the sub-continent for the last 200 years, however, some forces wanted to rollback this system which will not be allowed at any cost, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maulana Fazl was speaking at a function held in his honour at Jamia Banoria in Karachi. He said conspiracies against Madrassahs will be foiled.

Addressing the students and teachers, Fazl said knowledge is spread among the students in the madrassahs which has its own background and a long history.

JUI-F chief said almost two hundred years have come to an end but this chain of knowledge still continues and providing knowledge and wisdom to the generations.

Fazl said Madrassas faced oppression during British rule in the sub-continent. He said today in new era, the global forces were again trying to end the role of madrasahs but they will fail to do so.

Fazl said we as Muslims must have strong faith that Islam is the truth and the truth is Islam. He said we should know the facts that the nations who obey Allah are called free nations while those who obey humans are called slave nations. On the occasion Jamia Banoria chief congratulated Fazl for becoming a member of the Council of the Association of Islamic Countries.
