Forecast of rain, thundershower for Punjab, KP areas

Several areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to experience strong winds and thundershower while those of Sindh and Balochistan are likely to remain hot and humid, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Islamabad Weather

Islamabad is expected to remain cloudy with gusty winds and thundershower, according to the Meteorological Department.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, areas including Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Malakand, Buner, Bajaur, Mohmand, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Kurram, Kohat and Waziristan are expected to experience strong winds and thundershower, according to the Meteorological Department.

Heavy rain is also expected at few places. However, the weather will remain dry and partly cloudy in other districts of the province.

Punjab Weather

In Punjab, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm in areas including Pothohar region, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Sheikhupura, according to the Meteorological Department.

Other areas including Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang and Faisalabad are also likely to experience thundershower.

It has rained in Jhelum city and suburbs. The weather in Lahore is partly cloudy, and light rain is expected in the city.

However, the weather will remain hot and humid in other districts of the province.

Balochistan Weather

Weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan, the Meteorological Department said.

Sindh Weather

Weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Sindh, the Meteorological Department said. However, the coastal areas will be partly cloudy.

AJK & GB Weather

Heavy winds and thundershower are likely to occur in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), the Meteorological Department said.

However, heavy rain is also expected at few places in AJK.
