A villager Karim Baksh lost his house and source of income to the deadly flood on the 15th of August for the fourth time in Rajanpur district and appealed to the government for help, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Karim Baksh lived in a small village in the Rajanpur district namely Moza Rakh Azmat Wala and had a flour grinding machine as his livelihood. He lost his house and the mill to the very high pressure and seven feet tall flood water, seeing his life whirl away in front of his eyes.

The villagers said that this high-pressure and tall wave came from a rainwater drain that was only at a distance of a few meters from their town.

The 65-year-old Karim Baksh, from amongst that neighbourhood is the only one who has lost his house for the fourth time to the deadly floods. Earlier, he lived in the towns near the Sulaiman mountains and left there because of losing his house to the inundation almost every now and then.

Karim Baksh, now, having lost everything is very sorrowful and his eyes show deep grief and helplessness. His grinding machine has also gotten spoilt because of the flood and also the people who came to him with wheat to be ground have also lost all the grains.

Karim now expects from the government that he be provided with a source of livelihood and shelter for his family just like many others who are left helpless and shelterless by the devastating downpour.

All the flood victims are now looking at the government officials with questioning eyes.
