Investigators say letters sent to LHC judges contained baseless anthrax

There was a criticism of the country’s judicial system by an organization named Tehreek-e-Namoose—Pakistan in the threatening letters, which were sent to the Lahore High Court (LHC) judges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
On the other hand, 24News TV channel has managed to obtain a copy of the FIR of the incident registered.
Sources told 24News that the investigation team heading to Islamabad had found similarities in the contents of these letters.
Sources disclosed that the letters were sent by a man named Muhammad Fazal, while the case was registered on the complaint of the LHC security in-charge.
Words, “Welcome to baseless anthrax” were written on the letters, they disclosed
Giving further details, sources informed that the breed of anthrax as mentioned in the letters was a bacteria that originated from the soil and was usually found in animals.
They revealed that the forensic report had detected the presence of 70 milligrams of arsenic in the letters.
Sources expressed the hope that soon the law-enforcement agencies would get to Muhammad Fazal and his accomplices.
Investigation committees to meet SC, IHC registrars today
On the other hand, two teams formed to probe these incidents will meet with the registrars of the Supreme Court (SC) and the Islamabad High Court (IHC) today and inform them of the progress made in the investigation in the last four days.
Sources told 24News that the investigators had managed to obtain videos from the CCTV cameras installed at four different places.
Furthermore, they disclosed that the investigators were also keeping an eye on the suspicious persons who were found around the post office.
