DIG Operations Lahore Afzaal Kausar has terminated SHO Manga Mandi Javed Iqbal over practising negligence in a police encounter which resulted in the martyrdom of ASI Asim and constable Shahid, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

DIG Operations Lahore Afzaal Kausar has appointed Rana Mujahid as SHO of Manga Mandi.

According to police sources, martyred ASI Asim was father of a son whereas martyred constable Shahid had three children.

Police have recorded the statements of residents of the locality to trace the gangsters who killed the two police officers.

Police have registered a case and conducting raids to arrest the culprits.
