Actress Saboor Ali appeared in Hassan Chaudhry’s ‘The Talk Talk Show’ where she responded to questions about undergoing skin whitening treatment. The actress utterly denied the allegations.

“You and Ali shared a photo that was misconstrued, leading some people to believe that you both had whitening injections. Would you please clarify that?” the host questioned.

The Fitrat actress responded that they weren't actually whitening injections, but rather simple vitamin injections. 

“If I had been white, I would have appeared in every other drama and would have gotten completely white, but it's not like that since we work a lot, get tan, and dehydrated,” she added.

Following that, Hassan said that people with dusky skin do not get that much opportunities in the industry. Is it true? 

“To some extent,” said Saboor. 

She continued by saying that the time and things are getting changed now and people are being more acceptable towards dusky color and many people are taking stands now. 

Saboor Aly said that in the past, directors placed a strong emphasis on applying ivory foundation to every actress in order to make her look white. Saboor Aly said that she doesn’t know if the trend has changed but now she’s in a position to say no to it.
