Dacoits shot dead a young professor in front of his mother in Faisalabad for resisting their attempt to loot a shop on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The looters were snatching valuables from a shop in the Amin Park area when Professor Asif Bukhari offered resistance.

The slain professor was with his mother at the time of the dacoity incident. 

Police said that both the accused dacoits were on a motorbike but they ran away by dropping their bike at the crime scene. However, they later snatched another person’s motorbike at gunpoint to flee the area.
