PML-N, PPP agree on seat adjustment in Senate elections

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) agreed on adjustment of two Islamabad’s seats for Senate elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to report, the technocratic seat of the Senate from Islamabad went to the PML-N while the general seat went to the PPP.
PML-N’s senior leader Ishaq Dar will be the candidate for the technocratic Senate seat from Islamabad.
Sources said that seat adjustment will also be done in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
