Police on Thursday arrested a man hours after he allegedly murdered his mother with a sharp-edged weapon in Lahore. 

According to the information released by the police to the media, accused Ahmad Shehroz allegedly killed his mother, film actress Samina Khattak Naaz, also known as Nena Ali, for honour.

According to a police team led by Cantonment Superintendent (SP) Muhammad Isa Khan, the accused suspected his mother was having an affair. After slaughtering his mother, the accused drove away. 

Samina Khattak Naaz, 51, had got married twice but got divorce every time. In the world of showbiz, she was known as Nena Ali.
