Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has kicked off his Lahore tour to mobilise workers and extending an invitation to Lahorites for December 13 Pakistan Democratic Public rally, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

In her last address in Shahdara on Monday night, Maryam said that Lahore belongs to Nawaz Sharif and it remain the same. She said that government could not deter the PML-N party workers from attending the Lahore gathering on December 13. She thanked the local party leaders and workers for arranging good rally in Shahdara.

Earlier, the PML-N vice president visited various areas of Lahore including Quaid-e-Azam Interchange, Darogawala, Shalimar Chowk, Cup Store and Badami Bagh.

With dozens of vehicles, the caravan of Maryam Nawaz Sharif is enroute on Lahore roads for what PDM leadership called a historic jalsa. PML-N workers waved flags and chanted slogans in favour of party leaders and against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.

The PML-N Vice President spoke in Punjabi language with the workers. She said: “PML-N workers have to reach Minar-e-Pakistan on December 13 to conclude the war that was waged and initiated for the rights of the people by Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.”

She also chanted “Hamza, Hamza” refuting any rifts within the party ranks.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz Sharif addressing a gathering at Daroghawala said: “NA-128, your daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif herself came here to invite you for the December 13 PDM jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan.”

“Lahore will give verdict on December 13 and tell that days of the fake government are numbered,” PML-N Vice President said to the charged crowd comprising PML-N workers in NA-128 constituency of Sheikh Ruhail Asghar.

She said that Lahore is her home and she will go personally and extend initiation for historic jalsa.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif mocked Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving a statement that FIRs would be registered against those who provide chairs for PDM jalsa.

“The Tabay-dar Khan says he will not put hurdles in PDM jalsa but register FIRs against those who facilitate. Lahore-walas will come out like people in Multan arranged jalsa on the road despite government hurdles,” she added.

Former Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique addressing the workers took pledge from the party weeks that now all roads lead toward Minar-e-Pakistan on December 13.

He warned that do not stop the PDM ways to Minar-e-Pakistan as the caravan of Maryam Nawaz Sharif will reach Minar-e-Pakistan at all cost.
