Journalist and youtuber Imran Riaz Khan and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Moonis Elahi Wednesday exchanged barbs on Twitter over cancellation of the former’s visa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Moonis Elahi tweeted that he had heard about the cancellation of someone’s visa due to strong links with criminal activities, and he had to go back from airport.

Imran Riaz Khan was swift in reacting to Moonis Elahi’s tweet, and he from his Twitter handle encouraged Moonis Elahi to be brave enough to take the names of those at whose behest the visa was cancelled.

“A visa of mine had been cancelled a few days ago. Another visa of mine has been cancelled today. The same way, not only had the visa of Arshad Sharif been cancelled, but he had also been denied a new visa. Same play, same players, and same puppets like Moonis Elahi,” he deplored.

“All those whom Moonis Elahi had interceded with to reconcile with me should remember that he himself has started the feud this time at the behest of his masters. Those who had got my visa cancelled informed him about it and asked him to start the play. Let’s play then,” he added.

In response to the jibes hurled at him by Imran Riaz Khan, Moonis Elahi only said: “Imran Sahib! It was not meant for you. Classic example of an arrow in the dark.”

Again, Imran Khan swiftly replied to Moonis Elahi and encouraged him to take the names of those at whose behest the visa was cancelled. He claimed that he also knew who had told Moonis Elahi about the visa cancellation.

“It is you who have liked an arrow in the dark. Now see what happens from now on, deputy chief minister sahib,” Imran Riaz Khan made a sarcastic remark.

“It seems the facilitators are not tired until yet. The Chaudhrys cannot save their politics without dissolving assemblies even if they hang upside down. They will whole-heartedly polish shoes [of their masters]. And if they got permission of dissolving from their masters, the junior Moonis Elahi will say: ‘Look! How loyal we are’.”
