A gas pipeline, passing from the field of wheat crop, burst with a blast in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The citizens became worried due to gas leakage in the area.

The gas pipeline passed through Rustam Town area.

The gas supply was suspended to the nearby areas following the pipeline explosion.

“The gas pipeline had burst late at night. The officials concerned did not reach the area to fix the pipeline despite information,” the locals said.

“The gas is spreading in the area. The wheat crop has also been damaged due to the stench of gas,” they added.

“The administration should stop the leakage of gas from the exploded pipeline,” they demanded.
