A spokesperson for Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has shown resentment over Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto's remarks against PDM leadership, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

"We show respect to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for being the grandson of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, son of former president Asif Ali Zardari and ex-premier Benazir Bhutto, Hafiz Hamdullah said while reacting strongly to the PPP chief's speech.

He said the PPP chairman should not talk about what the PDM leadership ate during public rallies. Hamdullah too remained a critic of the PPP after the party distanced itself from the alliance over differences on resignations from assemblies.

Reacting to fresh criticism by Bilawal, the PDM mouthpiece said he questioned if Bilawal's criticism of the opposition and PDM makes the selected and the selectors stronger or not. Does such criticism serve democratic forces or undemocratic forces, he asked.

He said the PPP ditched the PDM for a seat in the Senate, he said and invited the party leadership to its public meeting in Karachi schedule to be staged on 29th.

He said he hoped Bilawal would present Sindh's traditional shawl to the PDM leadership and shun criticising it.

He explained why PDM President Fazlur Rehamn eats Halwa. Fazl approved Hamadullah's appointment for the post of PDM information secretary after Mian Iftikhar of ANP quit as his party followed the PPP.
