NAB lays down trap for 150 police officers deployed in Karachi

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has written a letter to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), seeking details of the bank accounts, lockers and deposits since 1985 of 150 officers of the Sindh Police currently deployed in Karachi. 

As per details, the NAB has also sought details of foreign currency exchanges made by these officers through exchange companies. NAB says this information must be provided in the laid down template. The NAB has asked for details of bank accounts, even those opened via third party. According to the list provided to the SBP, the NAB has sought details of the following police officers from the SBP: 

Dhani Bakhsh Marri, Rao Zakir, Rana Latif, Arshad Leghari, Sajjad Haider, Javed Sikandar, Jafar Baloch, Mithal Shar, Nasir Mashwani, Fateh Muhammad Sheikh, Farooq Satti, Faisal Khan, Mir Muhammad Lashari, Nawaz Gondal, Iqbal Tunio, Saima Saeed, Shagufta Gul, Anwar Gulzar Tunio, Ihsanullah Marwat, Rao Dilshad, Farasat Shah, Malik Faisal Lateef, Azhar Iqbal, Nusrat Hussain Sheikh, Akhtar Bangash, Khan Nawaz, Arz Muhammad Khashkheli, Nusrat Hussain Sheikh and Shabbir Hussain.
