Maryam Nawaz, vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), on Saturday condemned the suspension of news transmission of 24NewsHD TV. 

In a statement, the PML-N leader said she could proudly say that 24NewsHD TV was one of the people and media organisations that were speaking the truth despite suppression. She said that governments take decisions like the suspension of 24NewsHD TV when they start shaking before falling. She said this suppression could not persist for a long time and asked the team at 24NewsHD TV not to panic.
