Maryam Nawaz prays for Ch Shujaat’s health

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has expressed her best wishes for the speedy recovery of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Maryam Nawaz also prayed for the early recovery of the PML-Q leader.

Former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has been admitted to Service Hospital Lahore for chest infection treatment.

A large number of well-wishers of Ch Shujaat are visiting Services Hospital to inquire after his health. Former MNA Mian Munir, Mian Imran Masood visited the hospital and expressed best wishes for the PML-Q leader.

The TV channel reported that Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) Principal Prof Dr Amjad talking to the media said: “Chaudhry Shujaat’s health is better now and he is in stable condition and now there are no chances to shift him on the ventilator.”

“Yesterday there were chances to shift him on the ventilator,” he added. He said Ch Shujaat’s coronavirus test has come back negative.

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid also said Chaudhry Shujaat’ health has improved. 

PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi yesterday in a tweet informed that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was admitted to hospital after chest infection but he was out of danger by the grace of Allah Almighty.

He also thanked all the people who expressed their best wishes for the PML-Q supremo speedy recovery.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Chaudhry Shafay, MNA and inquired about the health of his father Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

Chaudhry Shafay Hussain apprised the Prime Minister that his father’s health has improved and was recovering.

Imran Khan has also arrived in Lahore and there are chances that the Prime Minister may visit SIMS to inquire about the health of PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Tourism, Zulfi Bukhari had also visited the ailing PML-Q leader and inquired after his health condition.
