Mother of Nasir Hussain Shah laid to rest in Sukkur

The funeral prayers of the mother of Sindh Information and Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah were offered at Karbala Ground in Rohri on Monday and she was buried in her hometown graveyard at Muhib Ali Shah Sangrar in Sukkur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The funeral prayers were offered at Rohri's Karbala Ground where Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, provincial ministers Syed Owais Qadir Shah, Saeed Ghani, Timur Talpur, Farrukh Shah, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Imdad Potafi and GDA leader Sardar Ali were also present. Gohar Khan Mehr, Raja Khan Mehr, Member National Assembly Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mehr, Sardar Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, PPP Sindh Secretary General Waqar Mehdi besides a large number of political and social personalities, local dignitaries, officers and citizens also attended the funeral.

Nasir Hussain’s mother was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi where she could not recover and breathed her last.

Earlier, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other political leaders expressed their grief and sorrow. PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Nasir Hussain and expressed his condolences over the sad demise of the minister’s mother. 

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his condolence message said that the entire party including the leadership is an equal partner in his grief. In his condolence message, Bilawal prayed for a heavenly paradise for the deceased and patience for the bereaved family. 

PTI central leader and Member National Assembly Aftab Siddiqui expressed grief over the death of the mother of Nasir Shah. In a tweet, he said, “My heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of the Provincial Minister for Information and Local Government’s mother. May blessings of Allah Almighty be upon her. Aameen”
