85-year-old Mian Mithu marries 40-year-old widow

Former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member of National Assembly (MNA) from Ghotki Abdul Haq alias Mian Mithu has contracted the second marriage at the age of 85, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

Sources told 24News TV channel that Mian Mithu, who had also confirmed his second marriage, had tied the knot with 40-year-old widowed daughter of late Jam Abdus Sattar Khan Dahar, who was himself a political figure. 

The sources added that while some members of Dahar family had wished the couple best of luck, others had expressed their reservations over their marriage. 

Abdul Haq alias Mian Mithu has over 150 sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters as well as great grandsons and great granddaughters. 

The former MNA is also famous for giving protection to the Hindu girls and boys converting to Islam. 

He had secured over 90,000 votes in the last general elections on a GDA ticket.
