The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Information Secretary, Senator Moula Bakhsh Chandio, has said the PTI came into power on the basis of lies and the government continues to tell lies even today.

He said this while addressing a press conference at his party’s media office in Islamabad with Nazir Dhoki on Saturday.

Chandio said the PTI government did nothing for the Kashmir cause and no country in the world is siding with Pakistan on the issue. He said the PPP supported the FATF bill in the national interest, but the prime minister was calling it an NRO. He said the PTI government was victimising opposition in the name of accountability. He said that NAB had completely lost its credibility and an institution with no credibility should be folded. Miseries of people of Pakistan are increasing with the every passing day, he said.

The PPP information sectary said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was indebted to the Taliban for his government. The PTI government is not valuing the political people, but people who brought them to power, he said. He said that Imran Khan had retracted from every promise he made to people, from converting the PM House into a university to preferring suicide to foreign loans. He said that Imran Khan was relying on unelected people. This government is losing the trust of every country one by one, he said.

Senator Chandio said this government’s policy towards PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari was shameful and clearly based on victimisation. “The report of Human Rights Watch is there for everyone to see. NAB has become an institution for victimisation run by unprofessional people. Imran Khan will lose the crutches he is standing on. What kind of attitude this government has towards political opponents like Sharif family?” he asked.

He said that Imran Khan would have to pay for all his barbaric actions. He demanded that victimisation of political leadership of the country should be stopped at once. He said that struggle for a just society would continue despite all this tyranny by the PTI government.
