3 terrorists having Afghan ID cards shot dead near Lahore

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel have killed three terrorists, having Afghan identity cards and were plotting to sabotage Muharram gatherings in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The three terrorists who were identified as Ahsanullah, Naimatullah and Abdus Salam were shot dead in an encounter in Ferozewala near Lahore on Sunday morning.

A large number of weapons including suicide jacket, hand grenades. Kalashnikovs and Afghan Tazkara Cards were recovered from the dead terrorists.

An FIR has been registered against the terrorists and a formal investigation has been launched.

On August 5, the CTD had also nailed a notorious target killer in Karachi, who was wanted for killing 14 people including key figures of different religious sects. He had links with a Syrian group fighting in the Middle East.
