Sports Minister of Punjab Malik Taimur Khan announced the immediate start of construction of a stadium in the village of national hero Arshad Nadeem.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the provincial sports minister said that he will welcome Arshad Nadeem himself as he is a national hero and a proud of Punjab.
The minister said a grand ceremony will be organized in honour of all the athletes including Arshad Nadeem who took medals in the Commonwealth Games.
He said they have given sports facilities to Arshad Nadeem and will facilitate him in future too. He said the Punjab Sports Board will continue to take vigorous measures for the promotion of sports.
