Situation at Larkana’s Central Jail is still tense as the inmates, who have been holding seven policemen hostage for the last four days for not keeping Muhammad Ali, a convict from Jacobabad, in the jail with them, are still sticking to their demands and are in no mood for a compromise, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced in which the cops could be seen telling the authorities the reason of their captivity, and demanding them to take steps for their release.

Four days ago, on February 4, 2022, 24News had reported that after a clash with the administration of the Central Jail of Larkana, the inmates had held seven policemen hostage.

According to reports, the prisoners came out of their barracks and started protests against the jail officials.

The jail administration had refused to take in a new prisoner from Jacobabad despite court orders, prompting the inmates to take extreme measures.
