The trophy for the One-Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and New Zealand was Sunday unveiled at National Stadium, Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The captains of both the teams participated in the trophy unveiling ceremony.

It will be a three-day ODI series. The first match will be played on Monday, the second on Wednesday, and the third match will be played on Friday.

The matches are part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

After the unveiling of the trophy, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam addressed a press conference and said: “We will try to field a balanced team.”

He pointed out that New Zealand was the best team. “It will be a good match,” he added.

He also stated that it was the right of the players to get NOC to play in the foreign leagues.

To a question, he said: “Now, the ODI series is going to happen. Let’s not talk about the Test matches please.”

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson also address the press conference and said: “We will try to win the series. The world cup is just around the corner.”

He added: “Every time, I score runs, I try that it is beneficial for the country.”

He also said that Pakistan was a strong team, adding that they also had the advantage of home ground.

“It is not easy to beat Pakistani team in Pakistan,” he pointed out.
