Four people shot dead in Kala Shah Kaku

Four people were killed in firing on a car by unidentified suspects in Kala Shah Kaku near Lahore on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the deceased were on their way to Gujranwala from Lahore in a car when they were shot dead by unidentified accused near a chemical factory in Kala Shah Kaku.

A woman, who was passing by, was also shot in the leg and injured.

Police registered a case and launched investigation against the accused who managed to escape from the scene.

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz took notice of the incident and sought a report from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rao Sardar Ali Khan.

He ordered the IGP to ensure early arrest of the accused and provision of justice to the families affected by the incident.

The IGP also sought a report from the Sheikhupura regional police officer (RPO) and ordered the senior police officers to immediately reach the site of the incident.
