ECP to hear Ali Gilani’s leaked video matter tomorrow

The Election Commission of Pakistan accepted the early hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s petition against Senator-elect Yusuf Raza Gilani.

The ECP will hear the petition tomorrow. The PTI moved the election commission for disqualification of PPP leader Yusuf Raza Gilani as his son Ali Haider Ali Gilani’s recently aired leaked video in which he was giving advice to PTI MNAs on how to waste a vote.

PTI lawmakers Furrukh Habib and Kanwal Showzab filed the application in the election commission. Today, PTI filed another application for early hearing of the case as the Senate chairman election is scheduled to be held on March 12. The ECP accepted the PTI’s application.
