Bilawal Bhutto hails spirit, unwavering determination of Pakistani women

Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto hailed the spirit, courage and unwavering determination of Pakistani women, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sharing his message on International Women's Day, Bilawal Bhutto appreciated the role of Pakistani women in the process of nation building.

He claimed it was important to recognize the valuable services of our women.

PPP chairman claimed that first of all Benazir Bhutto Shaheed laid the foundation of unprecedented policies to empower women and ensured their participation in all fields of life.

Moreover, Bilawal said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's commitment to social justice laid the foundation of inclusive and equal society in the country.

He further said under the leadership of Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan crossed a historic milestone in women's rights. He claimed Benazir Bhutto, as the first woman Prime Minister of a Muslim majority country, broke social barriers being faced by Pakistani women.

Meanwhile, PPP govt made key legislation and started several initiatives in favor of women during the tenure of President Zardari.

Being PPP chairman, Bilawal reiterated his firm commitment to women's empowerment despite challenges.
