Three tortured dead bodies two of them packed in bags were recovered from the Lower Bari Doab Canal of Renala Khurd in Okara district on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police and rescue authorities reached the canal and recovered the bodies. The authorities were so far not able to identify the bodies.

The Lower Bari Doab Canal in Punjab is part of the second-largest irrigation system of the province.
