Interest rates of National Saving Schemes increased

Interest rates of different National Saving Schemes have been increased, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the report, the interest rate on Special Savings Certificate has been increased from 13.10 per cent to 17.13 per cent.
The interest rate on Savings Accounts has been increased from 18.50 per cent to 19.50 per cent.
The rate of return on one-year short-term savings certificates was increased from 19.82 per cent to 20.80 per cent.
The rate of interest on 6-month short-term savings certificates has been increased from 19.64 per cent to 20.82 per cent.
The rate of return on three-month short-term saving certificates was increased to 20.84 per cent from 19.92 per cent.
While the rate of return on Defense Savings Certificates and the profit of Pensioners, Welfare and Martyrs' families Certificates will remain unchanged at  14.87 per cent and 16.56 per cent respectively.
The interest rate of the Regular Income Certificate will also remain unchanged at 12.84 per cent.
