Islamabad IG Dr Akbar Nasir Khan has taken a notice of a fight between two officials in the police line, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday. 

Reportedly, a fight broke out between the two officials over personal grudges. During the quarrel, Shahid Nawaz, a constable fired at another constable Mir Nawaz, injuring him. Both officials Shahid Nawaz and Amir Nawaz are residents of the same village.

The IG has sought a report of the incident from the DIG headquarters. He directed that the accused should be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice.

The police spokesperson added that legal action has been initiated and strict departmental and legal action will be taken the offender.
