The police foiled a dacoity attempt in Gulshan Iqbal area of Karachi in which some outlaws tried to take away an ATM machine in a mini-truck after uprooting it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Some criminals became more prudent as they did not try to steal the PIN numbers of ATM cards nor did they hack the ATM machine, rather they thought it discreet to steal the whole machine, full of cash in Gulshan Iqbal, Block 3.

They brought Shahzor mini-truck with them to load the ATM machine. First, they dug out machine with the help of their truck. At this point, an unknown caller who was watching the whole activity, informed the police on their helpline 15.

Seeing the police van coming, the lawbreakers fled the scene leaving the ATM machine and their mini-truck behind.
