Mobile phone tower blown up near Kalat

A mobile phone tower was blown up in Nemregh town near Balochistan city of Kalat on Thursday, suspending mobile signals in the area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources in Levies Force, explosives were used to destroy the mobile tower in Nemregh, located 50kms from Kalat city.

Levies personnel inspected the attack site and launched further investigation.

In October 2022, a mobile phone tower was also blown up in Kalat’s remote mountainous area of Sheikhri by unidentified miscreants. The mobile tower was totally destroyed in the explosion.

In June 2022, a private mobile phone company’s tower was blown up in Balochistan’s Bolan district. Unknown miscreants had planted an improvised explosive device near the tower of a private company in the Bibi Nanai area of district Bolan.

The tower was damaged as a result of the explosion.
