A 12-year-old child committed suicide after not being given a mobile phone in the Raiwand City area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to police officials, the 12-year-old boy identified as Muhammad Ayan hanged himself with a rope wrapped around his neck.

As per the details, Muhammad Ayan was a resident of Mission Colony.

He asked his mother for a mobile phone but she did not give him and went to the neighbor's house.

After some time the mother returned home and found Ayan's dead body.

The police took the body into custody and started further investigation into the matter.
