A suicide drama on Clifton beach Karachi unfolded as the youth who was believed to be dead reached home after two days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The rescue personnel searched for the body of Tahir Mahmood in the sea for two days after getting reports that a youth had committed suicide by jumping into the sea.

According to a relative of the youth Israr Ahmad, Tahir did not commit suicide and was found in a semi-unconscious state near the beach.

Tahir Mahmood's in-laws informed some time ago that Tahir Mahmood has been found and he may have used drugs, Israr Ahmed said.

Just yesterday, it was suspected and showed the possibility that Tahir Mahmood did not commit suicide.

Among all the beaches in Karachi, Clifton Beach is considered smooth and safe, rescue officials said.

According to the family, Tahir Mahmood is a resident of Rahim Yar Khan and has contracted two marriages, one in his native area and the other in Karachi.

Police sources said that it was suspected that he escaped due to domestic pressures.
