Saro was bestowed MPhil degree by Dr Asif Yaseen during the university’s award-giving ceremony.
Saro was optimistic to work for the betterment of the transgender people who are especially backward in every walk of life in our country.
Due to the apathy of the government, the transgender community is the most neglected segment of our society. They mostly live in ghettos and they perform dance and singing programmess during functions to eke out their living. Since trans people live in extreme poverty, getting education is a rarity among them.
