A local judge in Lahore “played” April Fool on PTI leader Shahbaz Gill when he appeared before him in Lahore on Saturday in connection with a case pertaining to instigating public against institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shahbaz Gill appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra and the proceedings for his indictment in the case were once again deferred.

As the hearing began, the PTI leader extended congratulations to the judge who in reaction said “It means you have received the April Fool message.”

The judge asked Shahbaz Gill “You are going abroad?” Gill responded “Going out of the country because I am happy over your birthday.”

The PTI leader further added “I salute you on your verdict in General Amjad Shoaib’s case.”

The judge then said “Thank you. When are you coming back?”

Gill said “I have to go far off. Please help me.”

The judge taunted “You are not going on foot. When will the time period given by the LHC for going abroad start?”

Gill said “It will begin the day I will go abroad.”

The judge then adjourned the hearing of the case until May 6.
