A local court in Nowshera has granted interim bail to PTI Chief Imran Khan’s nephew, Hassaan Niazi in a sedition case till April 19, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Hassaan Niazi, who is also a prominent lawyer, was presented before the court of Additional Sessions Judge Asif Khan on Saturday. 

While accepting Niazi’s interim bail petition, the judge ordered him to appear before the court on April 19. 

Strict security arrangements were made during Niazi’a appearance before the court today. 

A sessions court in Karachi granted on Thursday transit bail to advocate Hassaan Niazi in a case lodged against him in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Nowshera district.

During the hearing, Niazi’s lawyers said that he was to be presented before another judge for bail application in another case in Nowshera.

They pleaded with the court to grant Niazi transit bail so he may surrender himself before the relevant court in Nowshera and would be able to get interim bail.
