Gold price climbs up Rs15,300 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant surge on Wednesday, as rate of 24-karat gold per-tola jumped to Rs494,062, marking a sharp increase of Rs15,300 in a single day from previous day’s Rs478,762, according to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs13,117 to Rs423,578 from Rs419,461 while 22-karat gold increased by Rs12,024 to Rs388,293 from Rs376,269.

In the international market, gold prices also climbed, reaching $4,713 per ounce, with a gain of $153 from previous day’s $4,560.

Silver prices followed the upward trend in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola increased to Rs7,984, up by Rs200, while 10 grams of silver were recorded at Rs6,844, showing a rise of Rs171. International silver prices also edged higher to $75, gaining $2.
