Man kills nephew’s pregnant wife for ‘honour’ in Khairpur

A man gunned down his nephew’s pregnant wife for ‘honour’ and escaped from the scene in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the village of Zamir Hussain Kario Khairpur. Police said that the victim was married but not living with his husband.
The dead woman was later identified as Mumtaz Khatoon, who was 22. Accused Amir Ali fled from the spot soon after the incident.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khairpur said that police is investing the case from different angles.
He also expressed the hope that the accused will be arrested soon.
