A female patient died in Hafizabad after the ceiling of the hospital fell down on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The roof collapse injured two other persons as well. The hospital administration tried to downplay the incident. Sources say other patients were being treated at the same ward where the roof collapsed.

In another incident, a bus of the Education Board that was going from Toba Tek Singh to Lahore rammed two motorcyclists at Samundri Road near Sabzi Mandi.

Two people died on the spot, however, the driver of the bus ran away from the scene. Police Station Saddar personnel have shifted the bodies to a hospital for post mortem.
