AJK elections 2026: 4,897 voters to cast vote in Karachi's refugee constituency

Polling for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections will be held across Karachi on Sunday, August 2, with a total of 4,897 registered voters expected to cast their ballots.

According to election officials, polling arrangements have been completed in all seven districts of Karachi.

District South has 567 registered voters, for whom one polling station has been established.

District Central has 702 registered voters, with five polling stations set up to facilitate voting.

In District West, 924 registered voters will cast their ballots at two polling stations.

District East has the highest number of registered voters at 956, with four polling stations established for the election.

District Korangi has 621 registered voters, while two polling stations have been set up in the district.

In District Malir, there are 170 registered voters, and four polling stations have been established.

District Keamari has 260 registered voters, with one polling station set up for the election.

Election authorities said all necessary arrangements have been finalised to ensure smooth and peaceful polling across Karachi for the AJK Legislative Assembly elections.
