UAE envoy calls on Ishaq Dar in Islamabad

Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi called on Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar exchanged views with the UAE envoy on bilateral relations.
Both agreed to boost the bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
It may be mentioned here that Pakistan government has reportedly sought support from the Bank of China to bring back macroeconomic stability. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had recently briefed the president of the Bank of China, Liu Jin, about the country’s financial and fiscal conditions.
Pakistan is facing a cash crunch and its foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank have declined to under $8 billion, while the country is scheduled to make a $1.08 billion bond repayment, which matures on December 5.
