Int’l Olympic Committee tells India to mend its ways if it wants to host games in 2036

The prospects of India hosting the Olympics games in 2036 do not look bright now as the International Olympic Committee has warned the country that it will have to separate politics from sports if it is interested in hosting the games, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to The Guardian, the committee has serious reservations over the role of politics in sports in India and has conveyed to the country that it will have to improve its ties with Pakistan and Bangladesh so that it could be considered eligible for hosting the event.

It has also been conveyed to India that in case any country boycotts the Olympics due to its intransigence, it will be unimaginable to make the country the host of the games.
