Pakistan need 253 runs in 33.3 overs against India to reach Under 19 World Cup last 4

Pakistan bowled out India for 252 runs in 49.5 overs in their Super Sixes match of the Under 19 World Cup being played in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Pakistan need to chase the 253-run target in 33.3 overs if they want to make it to the last four of the World Cup. However, they can take the target to 34.3 overs if they finish with a six (258).

After opting to field first, Pakistan bowlers kept striking but India’s lower middle order made the target tougher for Pakistan. India's lower-middle order did really well in a tricky situation. Khilan Patel, Kanishk Chouhan took Pakistan's death-bowling plans out of whack. Before that Ambrish and Vedant Trivedi steered India through the middle overs. They had a few starts in the middle order but none substantial.

George and Sooryavanshi started well before Sayyam and Subhan created a stir.

Sayyam struck twice in the in eighth over. First he ended the 47-run opening stand who was caught behind after making 30 runs off 22 balls. Indian captain Ayush Mhatre also went for a duck in same fashion as he was caught behind by Hamza Zahoor off Sayyam.

George was the next victim who was clean bowled by Subhan after making 16 runs as India were 47-0 to 47-3 in space of fur balls.

Vedant Trivedi made 68 runs to give India some hope and when he left the Indians were 182-6 in 42.2 overs.

However, lower middle order did good job to take the score to 252. Khilan Patel made 21 and Kanishk Chouhan 35.

For Pakistan, Subhan took 3-33 and Sayyam 2-69. Ali Raza, Ahmad Hussain, Momin Qamar and Ali Hasan Baloch all took one wicket apiece.
