Mehmood Dogar replaces Umer Sheikh as new Lahore CCPO

Taking notice of increasing crime rate in the provincial capital, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has changed CCPO Lahore Umer Sheikh, and posted Ghulam Mehmood Dogar in his place, reported 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Umer Sheikh, who remained the CCPO for a period of three months, has now been made the deputy commandant PC.
Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, the new CCPO, is known for his ability to control the crime rate. Dogar had served as SP Admin in Lahore, Chief Traffic Officer, DIG Operations and DIG Procurement and IT prior to joining the new assignment.
He had also remained CCPO Gujranwala and Multan. When he was the RPO Sahiwal and Faisalabad, he brought down the crime rate significantly.
