CM Naqvi is set to inaugurate Jinnah Hospital’s emergency unit tonight

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi is set to inaugurate the newly equipped emergency ward at Jinnah Hospital Lahore on the eve of New Year celebrations, reported the24NewsHD TV channel.  


This was stated by the Caretaker Federal Minister of Commerce and Industries and Chairman of the Board of Management of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Dr Gohar Ijaz here on Sunday.  


He said that CM Naqvi will bring a wave of positive health news for the residents of the city with the inauguration of the emergency unit tonight.  


Utilizing the latest in healthcare technology, CM Naqvi, in record time, has overseen the establishment of a state-of-the-art emergency facility with 150 beds at Jinnah Hospital, he added.  


He emphasized that this initiative is a testament to the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and ensuring timely and efficient emergency services for the people of the province.


Secretary Health, Ali Jan, and Special Secretary Specialized Health, Raja Mansoor, have also arrived at Jinnah Hospital to mark the commencement of this vital healthcare venture. The presence of Punjab's Chief Secretary, Zaman Akhtar Malik, underscores the significance of the project in the eyes of the provincial administration.
