£40,000 wedding gifts for 200 guests as Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty marry in Bath

British chef Gordon Ramsay's daughter Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty reportedly turned their wedding into a dazzling display of gratitude and excess, splashing out an estimated £40,000 on lavish gifts for their 200 guests as tensions behind the scenes threatened to overshadow their big day.

The influencer, 26, and the Olympic swimming champion, 31, married on Saturday in an opulent ceremony at Bath Abbey.

Despite the grandeur, the event was notably marked by the absence of Adam’s wider family, intensifying speculation about a deep and ongoing rift.

Only one member of Adam’s family was present: his sister Bethany, who played a central role as a bridesmaid. Reports suggest that Adam’s father was offered a last-minute invitation, though it remains unclear whether this was accepted.

According to sources, the couple were determined to show appreciation to those who stood by them during what has been described as a turbulent lead-up to the wedding.

Each guest was reportedly gifted an engraved bottle of tequila worth £190, along with a specially designed celebratory T-shirt.

"Holly and Adam were incredibly generous to their guests, lavishing them all with a bottle of tequila embossed their own initials," a source told The Sun. "And guests were also presented with a cute T-shirt, showing the couple driving in a car and waving in glee as they start their life journey together.

The T-shirt had the date of the wedding on it and was a wonderful memento for everyone.

"The bride and groom really pushed the boat out. No matter the turbulence behind the scenes they wanted the wedding to be perfect. And it was."

Adding to the spectacle, Holly’s father Gordon Ramsay, whose estimated net worth stands at £176 million, is said to have spent a staggering £50,000 on flowers alone, ensuring the Abbey was transformed into a dramatic floral showpiece.

The focus on extravagant gifting continued even within the bridal party. Adam’s sister Bethany later revealed the luxury presents she received from her new sister-in-law.

Among them was a jar of the award-winning Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which retails for £79. The pot had been personalised with the engraving "Magic Beth," prompting Bethany to caption her post "Love you Holly."

Bethany was also given personalised pillowcases embroidered with "Beth" and "Bridesmaid," along with bags stitched with her name and that of her partner, Dan.

The gift haul appeared to include a black pyjama set, a sleep mask, and a delicate handkerchief embroidered with "Beth Bridesmaid 27.12.2025."

Chosen personally by Holly to serve as one of her three Maids of Honour, Bethany walked arm in arm with Holly’s sisters, Tilly and Megan, as they entered Bath Abbey.

She smiled broadly for cameras, while her mother Caroline reportedly watched the ceremony unfold from 130 miles away at the family home in Staffordshire, a property she once shared with her now-estranged son and daughter.

While Holly and Adam have since escaped the fallout by jetting off on their honeymoon, insiders claim that Bethany has been left to deal with the emotional consequences of her decision to attend.

Sources allege that her prominent role in the wedding has deeply upset her mother, leaving her feeling "betrayed."

"Beth has betrayed her mum to see what she can get out of being the only family member who gets on with Adam and Holly," the source claimed, adding that Bethany has changed significantly since growing close to Holly.
